Collateral For A Local Sushi Restaurant

This point of purchase project was designed for a small family-run sushi restaurant located just outside the University endowment lands in West Point Grey, Vancouver. Everyday Sushi caters primarily to the budget-conscious University student, as well as local foot traffic and local residents. Within 3 blocks of Everyday Sushi, on the same side of the street, 3 more sushi restaurants vie for potential sushi dollars, so a little “differentiation” was in order. The objective of this humble campaign was to establish a welcoming atmosphere that would appeal first and foremost to that very important University segment of the local population. Everyday Sushi is the first stop along the 10th Avenue journey for students leaving the endowment lands. We wanted to capture the students’ attention immediately. The second objective of this campaign was to appeal to those whose values align with an honest-to-goodness “homey” style of service – an experience that feels oh so very much like Mom was front of house, making sure her kids were well nourished and cared for.
